MIAMI, FL – June 5, 2023 – (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) – The Ibero-American Festival of Creativity (FIAP) and Advertising Week LATAM (AWLATAM) announce a strategic alliance for 2023 to create the largest gathering of the creative industries in Latin America.
This historic collaboration, facilitated by PRODU, a leading information media brand in the Hispanic communication industry, not only marks a unique collaboration in the region, but sees a further expansion of AWLATAM in Mexico City and represents FIAP's long-awaited return to face-to-face after two years of virtual events.
#FIAP2023 will be part of the official agenda of activities of Advertising Week LATAM to be held at the Papalote Museo del Niño in Mexico City from October 31 to November 2 of this year. As part of this event, the most prestigious awards of the Festival will be presented in person on Wednesday, November 1st.
"After these editions using a year-round FIAP format - with webinars and virtual meetings every 15 days watched and followed by more than 30,000 professionals and students - FIAP 2023 returns to deliver its awards in person in collaboration with Advertising Week LATAM. We are very happy with this alliance because we are certain that the sum of content will be very enriching for the creative industry," said Daniel Marcet, CEO of FIAP.
For Douglas Rowell, president of Advertising Week LATAM, the mission of the alliance is to add more elements to the largest gathering of creative professionals in Latin America so that he can provide advertising, marketing and technology professionals with unrestricted access to the trends that are shaping our world in real time, offering a unique opportunity to connect, learn and be inspired by the brightest minds in the industry.
"This alliance with FIAP, one of the most prestigious brands in the regional advertising and creative guild, fulfills that mission by offering an innovative and exclusive experience recognizing the brightest minds in Latin America's creative industries," said Rowell.
The agreement will not only provide a renewed impetus to both events, but will also open up a new range of opportunities for the Ibero-American communications industry. The face-to-face meeting will allow professionals, experts and opinion leaders to share their knowledge and perspectives on the future. It will also encourage creative exchange and foster innovation in the region's advertising industry.
Mara Fernández, Chief Transformational Officer at PRODU and general manager of FIAP, adds that through this alliance both organizations will offer participants an enriching and high-level experience, bringing together the best creative talent in Ibero-America. "Attendees will be able to enjoy a diverse program, which will include educational sessions, inspiring debates, networking opportunities and the exhibition of the most outstanding work in the field of advertising and creativity," he added.
Advertising Week LATAM is one of the region’s largest industry events, focusing on marketing, advertising, tech and media. By partnering with FIAP, this year’s event is predicted to have over 7,500 in-person attendees - the largest to date - and over 300 industry-leading speakers in a program featuring over 100 sessions, covering topics like AI, leading influencer trends, the latest in marketing and more.
AWLATAM 2023 will once again bring together the brightest minds from brands, agencies, media and technology, as well as popular culture in general, to discuss the biggest issues that are shaking and shaping our industry. The event has expanded to feature a combination of leading global speakers, local industry icons, along with fast-paced mentoring sessions and workshops to provide attendees with real-time tools and skills to create change in their organizations.
